iTRAC

Some things you should know before you contract through iTRAC

Beware, iTRAC say one thing, and do another.

Let me tell you what happened to me:

Details to come ... depending on the outcome of a letter I sent.

3/6/08 ... Well no response from my letter nor from my email terminating my contract with them ... so here goes:

I believe that iTRAC short changed me.
What iTRAC were doing was charging the government department I work for as though I was PAYG but paying my company as ABN.
This means iTRAC receive additional payments for Super and Workers Comp but do not pass them on, expecting my company to pay them.
When the government department discovered this, they terminated their contract with iTRAC. My employer was paying iTRAC expecting that I was receiving the full benefit of that payment.

Somehow, they have convinced Commerce that it was all an administrative error stemming from the fact [sic] that my original contract was PAYG.
Well it wasn't and never has been! If that is the case, then where are my Super payments (from either tenure)!!!!!
Anyway, I am not getting the money, it is to be refunded to the government department. At least that's something.

I don't quite understand how it can be an admin error. If you bill at one rate (PAYG) and pay at another (ABN) wouldn't this mean that your billing system would need some sort of manual adjustment?
Both my contracts through them, I have asked to be pitched at higher rates but this has not been done. If I was charged out correctly, I would have got the pay I was asking for.
I have been repeatedly told that iTRAC have "transparent" fees and charges and that they have been taking the minimum fees. This is obviously not the case.

The moment I transferred to another agency, I got $5.50ph more. That's about $11,000.00 pa!!!!!

IF YOU CONTRACT THROUGH iTRAC:

IF YOU'RE ABOUT TO CONTRACT THROUGH iTRAC:

17/6/08 ... I have heard that iTRAC will be required to pay back EVERY LAST CENT of the overpayment they have received due to the "adminstration errors" with 3 (out of only 3) contracts they have here. So, 100% of iTRAC contracts here have "adminstration errors", and they're all in iTRAC's favour. If you're contracting though iTRAC, you should confirm that there's no "adminstration errors" with your contract.
